Cairo – Mubasher: Obour Land for Food Industries has obtained some of the final licences related to Obour Farm and the remaining licences will be obtained this year.
The construction works have already started as the farm is forecast to begin operating in 2022, Obour Land said in a bourse disclosure on Monday.
Extending over 42 feddans, Obour Farm is being built with an investment cost of EGP 255 million to house 2,500 cows over four years.
In the first half (H1) of 2021, Obour Land for Food Industries recorded consolidated net profits of EGP 143.98 million, up from EGP 140.05 million in H1-20, including minority shareholders' rights.
