Mubasher: Oman Investment and Finance Company (OIFC) on Sunday said it was awarded a contract by Electricity Holding Company to provide a prepaid system and collection services, OIFC said in a statement.
The two-year contract is worth OMR 199,000 ($515,002), and we expect reasonable profits from the contract, the Omani company added in a statement to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM).
In late January, OIFC received an OMR 300,000 contract to provide billing and customer services at the Public Authority for Electricity and Water and Haya Water.
Earlier in 2017, the financial services company signed a four-year contract with Majan Electricity Company worth OMR 13.18 million to read counters, deliver bills, print them, cut, and reconnect services for water and electricity.
The company turned to profitability in 2016 achieving OMR 2.73 million against losses of OMR 3.57 million in 2015.
