Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: National Mobile Telecommunications Company (Ooredoo) and CK Hutchison Holdings Limited (CK Hutchison) have extended the period of exclusivity for the non-legally binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a possible transaction to combine PT Indosat Tbk (Indosat) and PT Hutchison 3 Indonesia (3 Indonesia).
Both companies have extended the period of negotiations to combine their Indonesian businesses until 23 September 2021, according to a recent bourse filing.
It is noteworthy to mention that in December 2020, Ooredoo and CK Hutchison signed an exclusive and non-legally binding MoU, which was valid until 30 April 2021.
