Mubasher: National Mobile Telecommunications Company (Ooredoo) has appointed Ali bin Jabor Al Thani as the new CEO of Ooredoo Qatar, according to a press release.
Before his new role, Al Thani served as the Chief Legal, Regulatory, and Governance Officer at Ooredoo Group. He has brought several years of experience in senior leadership positions since joining the telecom firm in 2013.
After ending his secondment as the CEO of Ooredoo Qatar, the new official will be the Deputy Group CEO of Ooredoo, under which he will be responsible for the listed company’s management and operations.
Meanwhile, Nasser bin Hamad bin Nasser Al Thani, who held the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Ooredoo Qatar, was named as the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Ooredoo. He succeeded Hamad Yahya Al Nuaimi, who was announced as the Chief Board Affairs Officer at the telecom group.

In addition to trading on Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), Ooredoo is also listed on Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) and Boursa Kuwait.
