Mubasher: National Mobile Telecommunications Company’s (Ooredoo) net profit grew by 1% year-on-year to KWD 30.1 million ($99 million) during the fiscal year 2019.
Revenue declined to KWD 634 million last year, compared to KWD 665 million in the year-ago period, according to the Kuwait News Agency.
Ooredoo’s board recommended the distribution of 50 fils per shares in cash dividends. Earnings per share reached 60 fils.
It is worth noting that during the period from January to September 2019, Ooredoo’s profit surged by 45% to KWD 23.5 million when compared to KWD 16.2 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.
