Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated net profits after tax of Orascom Investment Holding (OIH) plunged to EGP 428.04 million in 2022 from EGP 861.22 million in 2021, including non-controlling equity, according to the financial results.
Basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) from non-continuing operations shrank to EGP 0.009 as of 31 December 2022 from EGP 0.173 a year earlier. Meanwhile, the total assets rose to EGP 4.02 billion from EGP 4.01 billion.
Standalone Income Statements
The EGX-listed firm posted a surge in standalone net profit after tax to EGP 754.55 million in 2022 from EGP 42.10 million in 2021, whereas the total assets widened to EGP 2.38 billion from EGP 1.73 billion.
The basic and diluted EPS from non-continuing operations increased to EGP 0.07 last year from EGP 0.03 during January-December 2021, while the revenues hiked to EGP 35.88 million from EGP 636,000.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, Orascom Investment Holding shifted to consolidated net profits worth EGP 265.36 million, versus net losses of EGP 46.07 million in 9M-21.
