Cairo – Mubasher: Orascom Investment Holding (OIH) has achieved consolidated net profits of EGP 86.54 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, against net losses of EGP 31.03 million in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders' rights.
The company's operating revenues increased to EGP 8.06 million in Q1-22, compared to EGP 5.38 million in the same period of 2021, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
As for the standalone businesses, the company recorded net profits of EGP 434.93 million in the January-March period of 2022, versus net losses of EGP 42.34 million in the corresponding period of the earlier year.
It is noteworthy to mention that in 2021, the company reported consolidated net profits after tax worth EGP 563.96 million, against net losses of EGP 103.22 million in 2020.
