Cairo – Mubasher: The ordinary general meeting (OGM) of Oriental Weavers Carpet greenlighted, on 2 April, a cash dividend of EGP 0.60 per share for 2022.
Eligible shareholders will receive the dividend in May 2023, according to a bourse disclosure.
Last year, the EGX-listed firm logged consolidated net profits after tax worth EGP 944.17 million, compared to EGP 1.21 billion in 2021, including non-controlling equity.
The sales hiked to EGP 13.25 billion in 2022 from EGP 11.40 billion a year earlier, while the basic earnings per share (EPS) grew to EGP 2.06 from EGP 1.19.
As for the standalone business, the non-consolidated net profits after tax reached EGP 1.46 billion as of 31 December 2022, whereas the sales amounted to EGP 5.64 billion.
