Doha – Mubasher: Qatar National Cement Company reported a decrease of 31.5% in its profits for the first quarter of 2017, compared to the same period of 2016.
The company achieved profits of QAR 84.83 million ($23.28 million) in Q1-17, compared to QAR 123.79 million ($33.79 million) in Q1-16, according to a filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) on Tuesday.
Earnings per share (EPS) stood at QAR 1.3 in Q1-17, compared to QAR 1.89 in the corresponding period of the year before.
The cement company profits rose 2.5% reaching QAR 475.1 million in 2016, compared to QAR 463.55 million in 2015.
