Mubasher: Qatar National Cement reported a 6.4% year-on-year rise in its profits during the first quarter of 2018.
Profits amounted to QAR 90.26 million in Q1-18, compared to QAR 84.84 million in Q1-17, according to the company’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) released late on Wednesday.
Earnings per share (EPS) reached QAR 1.38 in the three-month period ended 31 March 2018, versus QAR 1.3 in the same quarter the year before.
The Qatar-based cement producer had previously posted a decline of 31.2% in net profits to QAR 326.92 million during the full-year 2017, from QAR 475.1 million a year earlier.
