Mubasher: Qatar’s council of ministers approved a draft law to grant Qatar Fuel Company (Woqod) a five-year concession starting from 18 June 2018 to commercialise, sell, transport and distribute gas and petroleum products.
The draft law was referred to the Gulf nation’s consultative assembly.
Woqod’s strategic plan aims to increase the total number of fixed and movable petrol stations to 130 by 2020.
By 11:18 am Qatari time, Woqod’s stock rose 3.89% to QAR 169.84 ($46.65).
