Mubasher: Raysut Cement on Thursday posted a 38.67% year-on-year decline in gross profits for the first quarter of 2017.
Profits reached OMR 6.29 million in Q1-17, down from OMR 10.26 million in the corresponding period of 2016, according to the company’s statement to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM).
Revenues were down 23.19% to OMR 19.43 million in the first three months of the year compared to OMR 25.3 million in the year-ago period, while profits before taxes amounted to OMR 4.56 million in Q1-17, down 48.60% from OMR 8.87 million in Q1-16.
Basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) reached OMR 0.015 in Q1-17, down 62.50% from OMR 0.040 in the same period in 2016.
