Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company turned to net losses after Zakat and tax worth SAR 1.24 billion in 2022, versus net profits of SAR 2.39 billion in 2021.
Revenues amounted to SAR 11.15 billion last year, lower by 11.85% than SAR 12.65 billion in the January-December 2021 period, according to the annual income statements.
Meanwhile, the loss per share stood at SAR 83 in 2022, against earnings per share (EPS) of SAR 1.59 a year earlier.
Accumulated Losses
Saudi Kayan registered accumulated losses worth SAR 575 million, accounting for 3.80% of its capital.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, the Tadawul-listed firm swung to net losses after Zakat and tax worth SAR 452.77 million, compared to net profits of SAR 1.94 billion in 9M-21.
