Cairo – Mubasher: South Valley Cement Company posted a 930% year-on-year increase in losses during the first nine months of 2019, according to the company’s financial statements.
The cement producer’s losses amounted to EGP 173.9 million in the January-September period, compared to EGP 16.8 million in the same period in 2018, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.
During the same period, the company’s sales retreated to EGP 345.26 million from EGP 656.3 million in the same period in 2018.
