Mubasher: Takaful Oman Insurance Company reported a 3.8% increase in profits for the fourth quarter of 2016 compared to the same period in 2015.
Profits reached OMR 619,290 ($1.6 million) in Q4-16, a rise compared to OMR 596,650 ($1.55 million) in the corresponding period in 2015, according to the company’s results published on the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) late Sunday.
Takaful Oman’s profits reached OMR 2.75 million in 2016 compared to OMR 1.7 million in 2015, registering growth of 61.8%.
The company last posted a rise in profits of 93.6% in the first nine months of 2016 to reach OMR 2.13 million compared to OMR 1.11 million profits in the same period in 2015.
