Mubasher: Vodafone Qatar on Monday announced signing an agreement with The Group Securities to provide business solutions including high-speed corporate internet and SMS services to more than 400,000 investors of Qatar’s largest brokerage firm.
Signing the deal followed an intensive assessment of Vodafone’s technical and commercial capabilities during the recent Qatar Aluminum Manufacturing Company’s (Qamco) initial public offering (IPO), the telecom operator said in a statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
During the first nine months of 2018, Vodafone Qatar registered QAR 75 million in net profit from a net loss of QAR 227.7 million in the year-ago period.
Vodafone Qatar’s stock fell 1.55% to close at QAR 8.29 on Monday.
