Cairo – Mubasher: The shareholders of e-finance for Digital and Financial Investments approved the board’s recommendation to disburse a dividend of EGP 0.22 per share for 2022.
The company’s shareholders greenlighted the cash dividends during the ordinary general meeting (OGM) that was held on 21 March 2023, according to a bourse filing.
During January-December 2022, e-finance generated EGP 803.92 million in consolidated net profit after tax attributable to the owners, higher by 54.70% than EGP 519.73 million in 2021.
Basic earnings per share (EPS) increased to EGP 0.40 last year from EGP 0.32 in 2021, while the revenues jumped by 34.70% to EGP 2.64 billion from EGP 1.96 billion.
