Riyadh – Mubasher: The net profits after Zakat and tax of Saudi Telecom Company (stc) amounted to SAR 12.17 billion in 2022, higher by 7.60% year-on-year (YoY) than SAR 11.31 billion.
Revenues stood at SAR 67.43 billion in the January-December 2022 period, an annual rise of 7.02% from SAR 63 billion, according to the consolidated income statements.
The earnings per share (EPS) increased to SAR 2.44 last year, versus SAR 2.27 in the 12-month period that ended on 31 December 2021.
Dividends for Q4-22
The Saudi company decided to pay out SAR 1.99 billion as interim cash dividends, representing 4% of its capital, for the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2022.
In this regard, stc would disburse SAR 0.40 per share for 4.98 billion eligible shares.
The eligibility and distribution dates for the Q4-22 dividends will be on 26 February and 16 March 2023, respectively.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, the telecom firm generated SAR 9.41 billion in net profit after Zakat and tax, up 8.22% YoY from SAR 8.69 billion.
