Mubasher: Kuwait-based Educational Holding Group on Monday reported turning a profit in the six-month period ended in February, compared to the year-ago period.
The group’s profits amounted to KWD 3.74 million ($12.31 million) from September 2018 to February 2019, against a loss of KWD 2.66 million ($8.75 million) in the year-ago period, according to a statement to Boursa Kuwait.
The company attributed the positive turn in its first-half financials to calculating provisions to face the risk of decline in the value of assets.
Educational Holding’s stock remained unchanged to close Monday’s trading session at 315 fils after 25,730 shares were exchanged, generating a turnover of KWD 8,110.
